Will the Kingston ValueRAM 48GB DDR5-5600 SODIMM (KVR56S46BD8-48) work with the Dell XPS 15 9530 (2023)?
Yes. SODIMM matches the slot; DDR5 matches the device's DDR5.
Both records are reviewed against the manufacturers' sources; sources last checked 2026-10-07. Informational only: confirm with the manufacturer before buying.
Why
- ✓ SODIMM matches the slot.
- ✓ DDR5 matches the device's DDR5.
Good to know
- 48 GB is above the officially supported 32 GB per slot. It may work, but the manufacturer doesn't guarantee it.
- It will run at the device's 4800 MT/s, not its rated 5600 MT/s. That's normal and safe.
- The device has 2 slots. For dual-channel speed, install matching modules in pairs.
